Hi, I am Selmer Veninga, student at the TU Delft, currently studying the master Strategic Product Design. Three months of my internship have already been past since I started at Koos in February, time really flies here! A bit late for an update perhaps, but it just didn’t cross my mind yet because there is so much to do. Whether I am involved in crazy brainstorm sessions, serious meetings, fun drinks or 80’s lovesong sing-alongs, at Koos there is always something going on.

Next to the original goals I am pursuing (improving my visualization skills, seeing the added value of design in practice) I am learning what it means to be a design consultant.

This educational experience is mainly possible because I am, fortunately, not only responsible for making coffee, but am I mainly expected to support several projects and workshops. So far, I have created a presentation poster showing the results of the Schiphol Talent Arena, worked on a visual interface for Pon, and joined workshops for Yixx and Startpagina, and there is more to come!

Overall I am very much enjoying my time here. The fact that I learn so much while having a lot of fun at the same time makes Koos the perfect place for me to achieve my goals!
