On July first, Koos has been invited to speak at the BVM-Fachtagung in Berlin. It is a symposium about the role of research in improving the customer experience. Just the way we like it as service designers with our own mobile research platform Contextmapp!
The subject of Robbert-Jan’s presentation is as follows:
“As service designers we set out to ‘make things people want’, instead of ‘make people want things’. In order to find out what people really want, we dive into the daily lifes of users. Where does he or she live? What’s his personal context? What drives him? This is why we developed Contextmapptm, a mobile research platform that enables us to peek into people’s lives. Illustrated by a case study from Philips Kitchen Appliances, Robbert-Jan explains how mobile research is used to design better customer experiences.”
