Shanghai, Lisbon & Amsterdam!

Last week we organised our service design masterclass in three different countries! It certainly was a very interesting week, where we learned a lot and made a lot of people enthusiastic about service design!

In Shanghai, China we organised a 3-day service design masterclass together with China Bridge. It was really inspiring to meet and work with a diverse group of people from another continent. What was most interesting for us was to observe how a different culture adapted to our service design methodology at such a rapid pace. We also experienced some new firsts – such as attempting to read post-its with Chinese characters only. In Lisbon, Portugal we also organised a 2-day service design masterclass for CTT, the Portuguese postal company. Their aspiration was to glean a greater understanding of how they can use service design to offer more customer-centric solutions, whilst propelling their productivity in the workplace.

And last, but by no means least, our final service design masterclass took place back at home in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, where we organised a 2-day masterclass for a group professionals in industry who wished to boost their innovation skills and learn more about the most effective tools in the service design field.

Koos’ masterclasses are high energy, high impact, intense 8 hour daily sessions, structured around multiple topics. Each topic consists of a theory, a practice and a reflection.
